Palin to Speak in D.C. with Obama

Aw schucks. Sarah Palin has decided to attend the exclusive Alfalfa dinner in Washington D.C. because... "President Obama is scheduled to be there" and because she wants to lobby Obama and certain congressional leaders on Alaskan issues. Right Sarah. We believe you. Is Sarah Palin now considered more than a Governor? Because I was really under the assumption that the people in Alaska elected representatives apart from the Governor to go to DC to promote Alaskan interest. You know, like, people called Congressmen and Senators. She probably slept through that day of American Civics in high school.

Politico is calling this a possible "preview of the 2012 stage," but, for the sake of the Republican Party and true conservatives, I certainly hope they are dead wrong. When Palin was asked in an impromptu meeting from reporters outside her office if this trip meant that she was running for the presidency she denied the charge not once, twice, or thrice, but four times.

"No. Not at all. Not at all. No." Obviously, in Palin's mind the more accurate script was, "Yes. Absolutely. No question. Yes." Alas, we wait and see.
