Palin's New Bank Account for 2012 Election: SarahPAC

Following closely in the footsteps of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Sarah Palin decided last week to launch her new political action committee: SarahPAC. For those who don't know or don't remember, Ms. Clinton started her political action committee, HillPAC, right before the 2002 congressional elections, with manipulative hopes of raising funds for a possible 2004 presidential run. Of course, her mathematical formula to attain power decided it would be best if she forego a run in 2004, and instead wait until 2008. And we all know that her decision really paid off in the end.

But Palin will not be outdone by Ms. Clinton, and it is all but official that she plans to run for president in 2012. According to her website the money raised will be
"Dedicated to building America's future, supporting fresh ideas and candidates who share our vision for reform and innovation."
What she leaves out in her little mission statement is that this money will also fund the hockey mom's "Aw Schucks Tour of 2009-2010." Really, this is what Palin said when asked what the money would be for:

"It's helpful to have a PAC so that when I'm invited to things even like to speak at the Lincoln Day dinner in Fairbanks, to have a PAC pay for that instead of have the state pay..."
So you're raising money in the form of a PAC so that you can travel 200 miles within your state? Right.
"We turn them down for the most part we say no, I'm not going to leave Alaska or I'll rarely travel outside of Alaska. Now a lot of people outside of Alaska don't really understand the way that we operate up here."
So, let me get this straight Mrs. Palin. You setup this PAC so that when you travel you would not have to use state funds, but you then say, "I'll rarely travel outside of Alaska." So again, the only reason you set this PAC up...was to travel around your state more easily? Odd. No wait, but it's my fault again for expecting Palin to make sense I suppose.
Let's put the cards on the table, so to speak. This PAC is a bank account for her 2012 presidential run. She will use the money to travel everywhere when she throws her hat in the ring for 2012. Please, in the interest of justice and all that is sacred, do not give money to this PAC. Republicans need a viable candidate for office, and Palin is certainly not the way to go.
